Well now, super host Valentina certainly has an advantage to other hosts in that this house has probably got the best view in the region! The house is perfectly laid out, catches the mountain breeze in warm summer months, and the pool area with its fantastically appointed Kitchen is the most marvellous place to spend the day
However, what made it really super special was Valentina and Michel being so attentive, so kind, and so helpful, with brilliant advice on restaurants markets and places to visit in the area.
The area around the pool house is truly wonderful , and Michel keeps the water in tiptop condition, beautifully fresh and clear every day
The pretty local town Darnius has a sleepy square with a friendly local bar, a superb butcher and it’s just 20 minutes walk away. Down the hill, there is an amazing reservoir where you can swim and kayak.
Super house and super hosts.

Je recommande chaleureusement un séjour chez Michel et Valentina : le domaine est magnifique, avec une vue à couper le souffle, un cadre paisible et confortable, et une piscine d’une propreté irréprochable, entretenue avec un soin particulier. Et ce n’est que pour l’hébergement ! Valentina et Michel sont des hôtes remarquables : accueillants, bienveillants, attentionnés et toujours disponibles. Un immense merci pour cette belle semaine de vacances, nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir 😊
5 Sterne sind zu Wenig für diese Traumhafte Unterkunft und die Gastfreundschaft. 10 von 10 Sternen hätte die Unterkunft mehr als verdient.
Traumhafte Kulisse alles sehr Sauber und Valentina und Michel wahren stest bemüht unseren Aufenthalt so schön wie möglich zu machen. Auch die gemütlichen Gespräche mit Michel am Abend wahren sehr unterhaltsahm. Der Pool war immer sehr Sauber einfach Top.
Mehr kann ich dazu nicht sagen.

Valentina et Michel sont des hôtes hyper accueillants ! Ils ont été adorables avec nos enfants. Le lieu est magnifique et très bien entretenu avec une vue éblouissante! Très paisible et reposant !
La casa era perfecta para 4 huespedes. La zona de piscina era IMPRESIONANTE, con unas vistas 10/10 y con una zona de cocina para no tener que volver a la casa para comer. Valentina se comunicó en todo momento para saber nuestras preferencias y a nuestra llegada fue extremadamente amable y nos hizo un tour por toda la parcela. Sinceramente seria un lugar al que volveria por la ubicsción, el trato de Valentina y ls comodidad e intimidad de la casa. Recomendado al 100%, si buscas alojamiento por la zona es el mejor lugar para hospedarse! Gracias Valentina y Marisol por la amabilidad
Valentina’s place a an oasis of peace and incredible beauty. Both Valentina and her husband Michel are perfect hosts, going out of their way to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
Nuestra estancia en este lugar fue increíble. Las zonas compartidas, especialmente la piscina con las vistas, son simplemente espectaculares. Es un sitio perfecto para desconectar del mundo y reconectar con uno mismo.
Cuenta con todo lo necesario para una estancia cómoda: utensilios de cocina, zonas de césped, piscina y una mesa auxiliar ideal para disfrutar del paisaje. Valentina y Michelle fueron muy amables y estuvieron siempre disponibles para ayudarnos en lo que necesitáramos.
Los apartamentos estaban impecables, con la calefacción funcionando perfectamente, televisores en buen estado y herramientas de cocina útiles. Todo estaba muy limpio y bien cuidado. Sin duda, un lugar al que volveremos. ¡Muy recomendado!
What a beautiful and peaceful place in great nature! The highlight is definitely the location of the villa on top of a private hill, with a spectacular view of lake beneath, nearby hills, faraway mountains, especially from the common pool area outside! And the countless stars at night :)
The apartment is as described and as in the photos, with a beautiful fireplace in the living room-dining-kitchen, peaceful tree view from cozy bedrooms, and a bonus mountain village view from bathroom! The only tiny problem was the weak wifi connection, most likely due to the location being in middle of nature, but the host did everything to solve the issue. Overall the place was lovely and enjoyable, and very much felt like home :)
The hosts were very friendly, warm and helpful, especially Valentina! She made every effort to make sure the stay was comfortable. Really appreciated their hospitality :)

We hebben 9 dagen in het gastenverblijf bij Valentina en Michel doorgebracht. We hebben een geweldige tijd gehad, Valentina en Michel zorgen dat je niks tekort komt en dat je je gelijk thuis voelt. Fantastisch uitzicht, geweldig zwembad, mooie omgeving, heerlijk om tot rust te komen. Ook zijn er van daaruit genoeg activiteiten of leuke dorpjes te bezoeken in de omgeving binnen 1 uur rijden.
Valentina and Michel are absolutely LOVELY hosts. They are kind, warm and welcoming going the extra mile with little touches, recommendations and advice! The location is great - a short walk to lake for activities and to Darnius for a drink / meal out but all the while still feel like you're in the middle of nowhere having an escape. The salt pool and pool house are fantastic with breathtaking views! We will definitely be back. Thanks again, couldn't recommend going here enough. Thank you, thank you!
