In 1989, two friends from Switzerland came to Darnius for a fishing trip. Climbing the mountain overlooking Lake Boadella d’Empordà, they discovered a breathtaking beauty for themselves and from that moment the first stone was laid in the construction of Villa Rocamalera.

At the top of the mountain are two mirrored villas. In a comfortable relaxation there is a free-standing terrace with a swimming pool, where you can relax without bosom guests in the villa or in the guest house. Various parts of the villa are equipped with barbecue. From almost any corner of the villa you can enjoy the views of the beautiful valley and the beautiful mountain lake.

I would not talk about interiors, about a kitchen countertop made of centuries-old wood or about natural stone from which the entire villa is built. And what's more, I would not talk about the Ferrari bar which is for guests. I still would not say anything about the view from the balcony or from the windows when you wake up in the morning and are drowned in the beauty of what is happening.

Construction Plans
Rocamalera has two main floors and one basement floor. The upper floor is a seating area and an open kitchen and wonderful views from the panaram windows or balcony. The lower floor consists of bedrooms with spectacular views and bathrooms.

And of course the lower floor with a Ferrari bar and a laundry room for guests. There are wine cellars, but by 1998 the wine had already run out.
